Urban Arts Fest was a mix of urban arts and live
performance. The Festival featured 90 young artists displaying
their skills in spoken word, poetry, rap, drama, street dance,
graffiti, scratching, dj-ing, design, graphics and event co-ordination.
Urban Arts is about exploring, mixing and experimenting with
different art forms. Over ten weeks, our workshop programme
created opportunities for young people to collaborate with
others, build their confidence and skills – and make new
friendships. Performances took place in our newly created
studio space at Second Wave.
